In this position, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, making a positive impact on the lives of children with ASD. You will be responsible for implementing Behavior Treatment Plans under the supervision of a BCBA/Case Manager. Comprehensive training and ongoing supervision will be provided throughout to ensure your success and confidence in your abilities.
Daily responsibilities include:

- Conducting one-on-one therapy sessions and implementing treatment plans
- Teaching and reinforcing appropriate behaviors and social skills
- Maintaining accurate and detailed reports of client sessions, including raw data and anecdotal notes
- Collaborating with BCBAs and other team members to ensure consistency of treatment
Must Haves:

- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have full time availability (Monday-Friday)
- Must have reliable transportation and up to date auto insurance
- Must be comfortable traveling to clients’ homes and schools (within the Tri-Parish area)
- Must be an effective communicator
- Must enjoy interacting with children and others
- Must receive and provide feedback in a professional manner
- Must maintain confidentiality
- Must remain calm and neutral during stressful situations, including aggression
Preferred:

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with children or ABA
